Jordyn Woods predicted Knicks' championship with 'This Is Our Year' sweatshirt

Jordyn Woods highlighted a sweatshirt from an Amazon “Game Day” capsule she released earlier this year after the New York Knicks clinched Game 5. The $50 sweatshirt, shown on her Instagram Story, read “New York Knicks” and “This is Our Year.” Woods is engaged to Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns.

She launched the collaboration in December 2025 and said then that she believed the Knicks and her fiancé could bring home a championship. Prior to 2026, the Knicks hadn’t reached the NBA Finals since 1999 and hadn’t won a title since 1973. The team beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, winning their first championship in 53 years.

Woods has also been carrying an orange ostrich clutch from her Woods by Jordyn line to nearly every game the Knicks won. Fans noted she left the bag at home for Game 3 because of President Donald Trump’s bag restrictions, and the team lost that contest; the clutch’s return for Game 5 coincided with the championship win.
