At Tuesday’s “Toy Story 5” premiere in Los Angeles Joan Cusack said she left Hollywood to live a “normal” Chicago life with her family. “I feel so honored to have worked in this industry for a long time,” the actress, 63, said. “But it’s also great to live your life and raise your kids and be in Chicago and be a normal person.” Cusack, an Emmy nominee, has been married to attorney Richard Burke since 1996 and shares sons Dylan, 28, and Miles, 25.

She called her life outside the industry “kind of priceless,” though she admitted the star-studded premiere was “kind of cool.” She returned to voice Jessie in the franchise’s fifth installment; the London premiere last month marked her first red carpet in more than a decade and she noted, “There are not that many movies who do huge red carpets unless you’re doing an action [film].” On the Los Angeles carpet she posed for pictures with co-star Tom Hanks and Taylor Swift.
