Jim Carrey is returning as the Grinch 26 years later

Jim Carrey is in talks to reprise the Grinch, 26 years after the original film, and Ron Howard is expected to return to direct the sequel.

Carrey has spoken about how difficult the makeup was, saying it was "an extremely excruciating process" and that he could "hardly breathe" while in character.
