Jessica Henwick hopes to play Colleen Wing again in Daredevil: Born Again

Daredevil: Born Again has become a reunion for the stars of Marvel’s Netflix shows. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage made appearances, and Finn Jones was spotted during filming of season 3 in New York, suggesting a Defenders-style crossover. Jessica Henwick played Colleen Wing in Iron Fist and The Defenders, helping Danny Rand fight the Hand, and she turned up in Luke Cage to teach Misty Knight to fight with one arm.

Iron Fist’s first season was criticized in part because Danny spent so much time mansplaining martial arts to Colleen, but when M. Raven Metzner took over as showrunner in season 2 he sidelined Danny to elevate Colleen. By the finale, Danny used a mystical ritual to transfer the Iron Fist to her so she could become the protector of Chinatown.

Henwick spoke during a virtual junket ahead of the Apple TV show’s July 3 premiere and said, "It's public news that a lot of the cast is going back, and I would love to do it if the story is right.
