Jeremy Clarkson reveals prostate cancer: 'It's really early'
Jeremy Clarkson, 66, revealed in the final two episodes of Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 that he has prostate cancer. He tells co-workers bluntly, “I’ve got cancer,” and says he has known since May after a biopsy; he calls the cancer “aggressive,” but adds “it’s really early.” In the episodes Clarkson explains he hoped to finish the harvest before treatment but that surgery will likely come “in about two weeks, maybe three.” He says the operation is “in and out in no time” though recovery will take a while, and reflects, “So we started the year and I had coronary heart disease and ended it with me with cancer.” He also tells the team, “What I wanted to say was if this is all successful I’ll see you for Season 6 and, if it isn’t, I won’t.” Clarkson posted on Instagram that the final episodes are “really, really difficult” and signs off in the series with “Take care everyone.” Fans left messages of support in the comments, writing things like, “Please never stop showing us the farm.
