Jenny Mollen describes 'horror movie' bleeding while taking GLP-1 drug

Jenny Mollen recalled a harrowing episode while microdosing the GLP-1 drug Tirzepatide and taking a cocktail of peptides during an appearance on the Let’s Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa podcast. She suggested the reaction may have been connected to hormonal changes or a perimenopausal situation.

She said the bleeding came on suddenly, describing "hemorrhaging" and "blood clots the size of dinosaur eggs," and that she heard a plop and saw "blood everywhere." Mollen screamed for then-husband Jason Biggs, who she said began "screaming like it's a horror movie." Mollen recounted that she felt faint, suffered a vasovagal reaction and passed out on the bathroom floor after telling Biggs, "I think I'm losing too much blood," while he initially told her "you're fine." After a second fainting, Biggs called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital on a gurney; they were back home by 6 a.m.
