Jennifer Lopez revisits turning point during Ben Affleck divorce

On the SmartLess podcast, Jennifer Lopez said she canceled her tour a couple years ago to 'f–king figure [her]self out,' calling that period a 'turning point' as she navigated what she described as a 'puzzling' divorce from Ben Affleck. She recalled asking herself: 'What is going on with you?

Forget about everybody else. There’s nobody to blame here except yourself in a certain way. … What are you doing? What do you have going on?' Lopez also acknowledged that sometimes 'people don’t behave in a way that’s not great' and joked she could share more 'over a glass of wine.' Lopez said she studied patterns in her relationships, went back to the little girl she once was and urged herself to 'Give yourself a little f–king something.

A little love! Stop looking for love in other things and give it to yourself.' Her sister Lynda advised being her own 'keeper,' with Lopez describing the healing as fitting 'little puzzle pieces' together.
