Jennifer Lopez denies dating Brett Goldstein on 'Today'

On Tuesday’s Today show, Savannah Guthrie asked Jennifer Lopez whether the offscreen chemistry with her Office Romance co‑star Brett Goldstein was real. Lopez pushed back, saying she is often paired with co‑stars and denied that they were dating. Goldstein joked that standing near her prompts the speculation, and Guthrie pressed Lopez for a clearer answer.

Lopez pointed to prior unfounded rumors, including one involving Kevin Costner, and said it happens all the time and doesn’t make it true. When Guthrie asked again, Lopez said she was not dating Goldstein and he agreed. The pair have been promoting their Netflix rom‑com Office Romance, in which Lopez plays CEO Jacqueline Cruz and Goldstein plays Daniel Blanchflower; the film is out Friday.

At the movie’s New York premiere, Lopez praised their great chemistry, and Goldstein said he always had her in mind for the role. Both appear to be single. Goldstein’s only public relationship was with British comedian Beth Rylance in 2021.
