Jelly Roll divorce takes unexpected turn as cozy call with Bunnie Xo emerges

In a YouTube video titled "The Divorce Vlog," Jelly Roll — born Jason Bradley DeFord — addressed the end of his marriage to podcaster Bunnie Xo, whom he filed to divorce on May 18. He opened the clip with, "Yeah, y’all thought we were gonna hate each other, didn’t ya?

Plot twist, bitches!" and held up his phone with Bunnie on the line. During the call he let Xo promote her "Dumb Blonde" podcast and she used a recent episode to describe how their breakup unfolded. She said that during an argument on Mother’s Day she told him, "Well, then file the f–king divorce papers," and Jelly Roll subsequently filed.

Both say they remain friends and are continuing efforts to have a child together, including in vitro fertilization treatments. The musician is already father to daughter Bailee, 18, and Noah, 9. The filing cites irreconcilable differences.
