Jason Sudeikis says dating feels 'daunting' after Olivia Wilde split
Jason Sudeikis says he feels "overwhelmed" with the dating scene six years after his split from Olivia Wilde. On Tuesday’s episode of the "Friends Keep Secrets" podcast he confirmed he's single, saying, "I’m not at a point in my life where, like, it feels good or fulfilling to date numerous people all at once." He added, "That feels daunting and overwhelming." Sudeikis said anyone he dates comes after his children.
"Anybody I’m dating … they’re never number one on the call sheet, as the showbiz saying would go," he said. "The kids are. Even probably more so than myself." He also noted the need to "make sure my cup’s full in order for, you know, other people to get the overflow." The Emmy winner said he would be open to having more children if he "fell in love" again.
He is already father to two children — Otis, 12, and Daisy, 9 — both of whom he shares with Wilde. The comments follow the couple’s split, which first surfaced in November 2020 and ended an engagement of more than seven years.
