After a few days on Netflix in early June, Jason Statham’s remake of The Italian Job has surged into the platform’s global movie chart, reaching the 10th most popular spot worldwide this week. Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein’s Office Romance remains the most-watched film, while several other releases are also trending.

The 1969 Michael Caine original is widely regarded as an iconic heist movie. The 2003 American remake takes a different tack: after a heist in Italy goes wrong, Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg) assembles a team to pull off a gold heist against a former ally. Jason Statham appears as Handsome Rob, joined by Edward Norton, Charlize Theron and Donald Sutherland.

The remake has often been called underrated despite solid reception and box-office returns. It holds a 72% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 80% audience score from more than 250,000 user ratings, and it earned $176 million on a $60 million budget.
