Jake Reiner made his first public appearance since his parents’ murders at the premiere of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, posting red-carpet snaps and noting the series “comes out Friday on HBO/HBO Max” and that he appears in the first episode. For the event he wore a black blazer, black trousers and a gray T‑shirt.

The 35‑year‑old and his sister Romy, 28, have largely stayed out of the public eye since their parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, were killed at their Brentwood home in Los Angeles on Dec. 14; the couple were 78 and 70. Their younger son, Nick, 32, was arrested as the prime suspect and faces two separate first‑degree murder charges; he is being held at Twin Towers Correctional Facility and pleaded not guilty at a February hearing.
