Jackass: Best and Last tops franchise on Rotten Tomatoes
Twenty-five years after MTV launched Jackass, the stunt-and-prank series that grew out of skate culture and the CKY tapes has evolved from a TV compilation into a string of theatrical films. When the Johnny Knoxville–centric series moved to the big screen with Jackass: The Movie (2002), the team had more money, more access, and more outlandish antics.
The latest entry, Jackass: Best and Last, currently holds an 88% positive score on Rotten Tomatoes based on a few dozen reviews, putting it atop the franchise. Franchise scores: Jackass: The Movie (2002) 49%; Jackass: Number Two (2006) 66%; Jackass 3 (2010) 67%; Jackass Forever (2022) 86%; Jackass: Best and Last (2026) 88%.
Over time the movies have shown an unexpected shift: not maturity in a conventional sense, but a different approach to the material.
