Jack Shep Emerges as Breakout of Saturday Night Live UK

Now that Season 1 of Saturday Night Live UK has finished, 26-year-old Jack Shep from Bedfordshire logged the most on-screen time. Data compiled by Late Nighter shows the cast averaged 53 minutes 53 seconds each; Shep totaled about 1 hour and 18 minutes, a roughly 18.5% share, leading the show with 41 minutes 47 seconds in live sketches and 12 minutes 32 seconds in pre-taped pieces.

George Fouracres was second with 1 hour 11 minutes, while Larry Dean appeared for 33 minutes 29 seconds, a 7.8% share. Shep stood out from the first episode. In "The Last Supper" he played Princess Diana in the revenge dress, whispering "I only want a little nibble" and stretching his turn beyond the script to amplify audience reaction.
