It's Officially the End of an Era for Hulu

The Bear has officially ended. All eight episodes of the fifth and final season became available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ on June 25, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET, concluding a series that began in June 2022 and ran for five seasons. The finale addresses the fates of Carmy, Sydney, Richie, Sugar/Natalie, Tina, Ebra, Marcus and the show’s other ensemble characters.

The ending is heavy with emotion but also offers happiness, peace, a sense of accomplishment, pride and growth. While Carmy’s arc launched the series, the finale gives other characters—particularly Sydney—important storylines and meaningful screen time. The Bear became one of the most talked-about streaming dramas, earning 49 Emmy nominations and 21 wins.

Its balance of light and dark remains a hallmark: the silly, sweet Fak brothers sit alongside episodes like Season 2’s “Fishes,” which digs into family trauma. Season 5 retains that mix and feels, at times, strangely calm despite the pressure surrounding one critical service at the restaurant.
