It Ends, a 100% Rotten Tomatoes Liminal Horror, Hits Theaters Aug. 21, 2025

It Ends, which earned 100% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes in 2025, will open in theaters on August 21, 2025.

The liminal-horror road trip follows a group of recent grads who accidentally turn onto a never-ending, two-lane hellscape. Cramped together inside a Jeep Cherokee and facing untold horrors and cosmic forces, they must choose whether to embrace their new existence or fight to escape.

The film stars Mitchell Cole, Akira Jackson, Noah Toth and Phinehas Yoon, and was written and directed by Alexander Ullom. It premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March 2025 and generated strong buzz, but initially failed to secure distribution.

After Letterboxd launched its Video Store and made the movie available for rent, Neon purchased distribution rights a week later. All 24 Rotten Tomatoes reviews are positive, and the film has more than 15,000 ratings on Letterboxd with an average of 3.4 out of 5.
