Ismael Saibari agrees €55m move to Bayern as medical planned in US
Bayern Munich are close to completing a deal for Ismael Saibari after the PSV Eindhoven winger agreed to a €55 million move. The Morocco international was one of the Eredivisie's standout performers last season and is set to undergo a medical with the German club.
The fee would be a record sale for PSV, comfortably surpassing previous highs. The 25-year-old's value has risen sharply over the past year, drawing interest across Europe's elite. Voetbal International provided the detail that Bayern have tied him to a long-term contract running until the summer of 2031.
Saibari is currently on World Cup duty, but the transfer is not expected to be held up. He scored in Morocco's 1-1 draw with Brazil, and arrangements have been made for his medical to take place in the United States while the Bayern club doctor is working with the German national team, Fabrizio Romano confirmed.
