Is SNL new tonight? June 6 host and musical guest

Saturday Night Live is not airing a new episode on June 6. Season 51 concluded on May 16 with Will Ferrell hosting and Paul McCartney as the musical guest. Tonight's broadcast is a re-air of the December 13, 2025 episode hosted by Josh O'Connor with Lily Allen as the musical guest.

O'Connor appears in sketches such as the game show 'Let's Find Love', a beanie-wearing stripper in 'Bachelorette Party Strippers', and he teams with Allen in the 'Lily Allen Brunch' sketch. The episode also includes the viral 'Your Year Wrapped' Spotify parody. After the finale the show released 25 bonus sketches and cut 'Weekend Update' segments, including three from the season ender.

New episodes will not return until fall 2026. In the meantime there are re-airs every week this summer, and all Season 51 episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
