iRobot Roomba Plus 505X drops 52% for Prime Day with AutoWash dock

Amazon is offering a Prime-only deal on the iRobot Roomba Plus 505X combo, cutting the price by 52%. The robot vacuum and mop package, originally $1,000, is listed at $480 for Prime members, with shipping included. The all-in-one cleaner handles wet and dry messes using powerful suction, dual mop pads, a multi-surface rubber brush, and an edge-sweeping brush.

It reaches deep into corners and covers about 18% more floor area than its predecessor. For stubborn, dried or sticky spots it uses SmartScrub technology to apply extra pressure before removing debris. The Roomba maps the space at the start of a session, detects common obstacles, and uses sensors to avoid drop-offs like stairs.

Cleaning routines can be customized by room via a smartphone app, choosing vacuum, mop, a combination, or the order those occur.
