I Will Find You tops Netflix as 13 more Harlan Coben shows are planned
A new Netflix thriller has quickly risen to the top on FlixPatrol and, per Variety, posted the strongest launch numbers of any new Netflix series in 2026 — 24 million views within four days. I Will Find You follows David Burroughs (Sam Worthington), a man in prison after being blamed for his son's murder despite his innocence.
The series is one of 13 Harlan Coben adaptations already released on Netflix. The streamer struck a deal to adapt 14 of his novels and added 12 more, bringing the total to 26 planned shows, so another 13 adaptations are still to come. Fans of Coben's Myron Bolitar books will find rich material: Bolitar, a former basketball player turned agent at MB SportsReps, would bring the world of sports into the TV lineup.
Coben's TV work tends to emphasize family drama and emotional crossroads rather than pure action, which sets it apart from series like Bosch or Reacher.
