Microsoft is previewing Copilot Health, a service that lets users share basic details, upload medical records and connect wearables or apps such as Apple Health so the assistant can tailor responses to a person’s conditions, history and medications. The tool can also suggest medical providers filtered by specialty, language, gender, insurance and location, and Microsoft says it draws on thousands of trusted health organizations, follows principles published by the National Academy of Medicine and was developed in partnership with Harvard Health.

Privacy and safety features are central to the product: conversations with Copilot Health are not shared with the rest of Copilot or used to train AI, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and users can manage or remove connected sources. The service was developed with an internal clinical team, reviewed by more than 250 physicians from 24 countries, and achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification.
