I modified my PC setup with a 15-in-1 docking station, and the benefits go beyond more ports
The Baseus Spacemate RD1 Pro stands out with an adjustable wireless charging pad on top and a small, high-resolution display on the front. Those additions don’t feel like gimmicks: they give useful information for busy work setups while the dock delivers the functionality expected from a high-end station.
It’s a fairly large docking station with an extensive array of ports and controls, including multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, dual HDMI outputs, an SD/TF card slot, gigabit Ethernet, a full-featured USB-C host port and a DC input. Fast USB ports and a full-gigabit connection enable near-instant file transfers and low-latency networking.
The unit uses a graphene-enhanced thermal structure and vents to manage heat; it ran a little warm in testing but never uncomfortably hot. The biggest downside is the power adapter: it’s very large, roughly half the size of the dock, and the device cannot operate without it.
