Hunter x Hunter trailer heralds manga's June 28 return

After an 18-month wait, Hunter x Hunter will return to serialization on June 28 in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31. The manga’s most recent chapter, 410, was released on Dec. 9, 2024, and following leaks that all but confirmed the comeback, the magazine shared the official news alongside a promotional video.

The trailer opens with a glimpse of Beyond Netero and the Black Whale ship bound for the Dark Continent, then shifts to the Succession War and Kurapika caught in its chaos. It also highlights the Phantom Troupe and Hisoka before building to the crescendo that leads to the announcement of the series' return.

Yoshihiro Togashi’s action manga began in 1998 and follows Gon Freecs as he searches for his absentee father while aiming to become a Hunter.
