The streaming landscape that once felt limitless is contracting: within the next year, Hulu and Paramount+ are expected to be folded into larger platforms. Both services host popular originals and network content — Hulu carries series such as The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, and ABC shows, while Paramount+ is home to titles including Dexter: Resurrection, Taylor Sheridan's Landman, and CBS's Tracker.

The shows will remain available to stream, but how viewers access them is set to change. Disney, which acquired a majority stake in Hulu in 2019, announced in 2025 plans to integrate Hulu's library into Disney+. For now, Hulu remains a separate subscription and the app and website still operate, but Disney has said it will eventually retire the standalone Hulu experience and make Hulu the general entertainment hub inside Disney+, replacing the Star label outside the U.S.

Subscribers who link their Hulu and Disney+ accounts can already access Hulu content via the Disney+ app and retain profiles, viewing history, and favorites.
