The Clearwater, Florida, police department has closed its investigation after determining that Terry Gene Bollea — known as Hulk Hogan — suffered "an attended natural death" nearly a year after his passing at age 71. The 72-page report said there was "no evidence to indicate any criminal wrongdoing related to his death." Bollea’s body produced no evidence his death was anything other than natural. A July 2025 autopsy listed acute myocardial infarction as the cause of death and noted histories of atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
