Huge financial hurdle threatens Man Utd pursuit of Victor Osimhen

Manchester United are working through a five-man shortlist for a striker to support Benjamin Sesko after his solid debut season. Sesko registered 12 goals in 32 appearances and played 1,817 minutes, prompting the club to seek another proven forward to complete their rebuild.

Among the alternatives are Jean-Philippe Mateta, who brings Premier League experience, physicality and reliable attributes; Dusan Vlahovic, viewed as a market opportunity while his Juventus future is uncertain; and Bournemouth youngster Eli Junior Kroupi, identified as a smart long-term investment.
