How to Watch & Stream Every Episode of Surviving Earth
Surviving Earth is an eight-part prehistoric nature docuseries that blends the latest anthropological science with cutting-edge CGI to reconstruct life across millions of years. It premieres Thursday, June 11 at 8 p.m. ET and will stream the next day on Peacock.
The series spans eras from the giant sea scorpions of 450 million years ago to the mighty mammoths and sabertooths of 450,000 years ago. The series' official synopsis adds: "Traverse landscapes shaped by meteoric strikes, volcanic eruptions, plunging sea levels and scorching heat storms." Produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio and Loud Minds, Surviving Earth is led by Tim Haines, the creator of the 1999 paleontology series Walking with Dinosaurs.
Think of it as a mix of Jurassic Park and the best nature documentaries for a dramatic look at the resourcefulness of life on Earth. The first episode, "When the Earth Burned," premieres Thursday, June 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes will air Thursdays at 8 p.m.
