House of the Dragon Holds Strong on Streaming Ahead of Season 3

With its third season right around the corner, HBO's giant fantasy action series remains a streaming staple. The network has expanded the franchise with multiple spin-offs, including the well-received A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, while the show that rescued the franchise continues to draw viewers.

Even before Season 3 debuts on Jun. 21, House of the Dragon sits among the top titles on HBO Max. Real Time with Bill Maher ranks first this week, Euphoria's final season is second, and House of the Dragon holds third. The series has stayed in the streamer’s top 10 for 87 days and counting, while A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms dropped from the chart shortly after its release.

Debuting in 2022, the series is set 300 years before Game of Thrones and turned a brief footnote in Westerosi history into a sprawling epic with complex characters.
