Holly Madison says Playboy Mansion could be 'a little bit scary'
Holly Madison recalled that the Playboy Mansion could be "a little bit scary" at times. The reality star, who dated Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008, said she first "saw it as a safe harbor" when she moved in at 21, but added, "And, of course, it turned out to be so much more complicated than that." She warned there are "a lot of predatory people" in the entertainment industry "who are looking for young women who aren’t that sophisticated." Madison said she was "aware of the dangers out there" and learned "how people can turn on each other so quickly." "It was very much an 'everybody out for themselves' kind of environment," she remembered.
Madison is hosting the ID series "Lethally Blonde," which explores murder cases of people who had showbiz aspirations and whose stories ended in tragedy; she said she can "relate" to the victims the show profiles. The series returned for Season 2, and Season 2 premieres June 1 on ID at 10 p.m.
and streams on HBO Max.
