Holly Madison says tabloid cycle led to 14-year fallout with Kendra Wilkinson

On a recent episode of the Hot Goss podcast, Holly Madison said, "Kendra and I don’t speak," adding that she was "not opposed to speaking. We had a falling out, but it was after the show." Madison, 46, blamed the split on Wilkinson being caught up in the "tabloid cycle" and seeking relevance.

Madison and Kendra Wilkinson starred with Bridget Marquardt on The Girls Next Door from 2005 to 2009 as the girlfriends of Hugh Hefner. She said tensions grew around their spinoffs and working with the same producer, arguing that he "tried to pit us against each other and got in our heads." The producer, Kevin Burns, co-created the series, worked on a spinoff called Kendra, then developed Holly’s World and a proposed Marquardt spinoff that wasn’t picked up.

The pair have not spoken for 14 years. In 2016 Wilkinson, 41, called Madison Hef’s "clean up girl," and later criticized Madison for revisiting their friendship on a podcast, commenting, "Dude… it’s 2021" and, "Times have changed.
