Henry Cavill's 98-Minute Thriller In the Grey Hits Digital June 2
Guy Ritchie’s action thriller In the Grey, starring Henry Cavill alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez, is available to stream digitally from June 2, 2026. The film’s runtime is 98 minutes.
The story follows a covert team of elite operatives tasked with stealing back a billion-dollar fortune after a ruthless despot seizes it. What begins as an impossible heist escalates into a war of strategy, deception and survival.
Despite the high-profile cast and director, the film underperformed, grossing a total of just $13.5 million against a reported production budget of around $70 million. Critics and audiences were divided, with Rotten Tomatoes scores of 48% and 83%, respectively.
After its May 13, 2026 theatrical release, In the Grey landed on Prime Video and is available to purchase for $24.99 on Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and YouTube Movies & TV. MovieWeb’s Julian Roman praised Ritchie’s editing quirks but summarized the film as “all style and little substance.”
