Hellraiser: Revival will arrive Oct. 8 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. The survival-horror title is being developed by Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games and brings Pinhead back to the franchise. The game follows Aidan Lynch — voiced by Xalavier Nelson Jr., head of Strange Scaffolding (El Paso Elsewhere, I Am Your Beast) — who stumbles on a supernatural puzzle box that summons the sadomasochistic demons known as the Cenobites.

After his girlfriend Sunny agrees to join the Cenobites in Hell, Aidan sets out to bring her back. Revival mixes survival-horror and action elements as Aidan fights and flees demonic foes. The standard edition is priced at $39.99, while the deluxe edition costs $49.99.

Hellraiser began as Clive Barker’s novella The Hellbound Heart and Barker wrote and directed the original 1987 film, which was followed by 10 more films. Most of those sequels were not well regarded; the most recent entry, Hellraiser (2022), received solid reviews despite being released straight to streaming on Hulu.
