HBO Cuts Annual Subscription Prices for New and Returning Users

HBO Max will offer discounted annual subscriptions to new and returning subscribers in the United States. For a limited time, yearly prices are $78.99 for the HBO Max Basic with Ads plan, $132.99 for the Standard plan, and $164.99 for the Premium plan.

The company has often offered a discount for those paying upfront for a year of service; this offer lets consumers save an additional 28% (40% overall from normal prices). The discount is available from Jun. 18 to Jul. 15, 2026.

After the next 12 months, rates will return to the standard $109.99 (Basic), $184.99 (Standard), and $229.99 (Premium).
