Harry Maguire sets two conditions for Marcus Rashford return to Man Utd
Harry Maguire has backed Marcus Rashford to make a successful return to Manchester United this summer but said two specific conditions must be met first. Rashford is currently with England at the World Cup after a productive loan spell at Barcelona, who declined to trigger their option to sign him permanently.
During the 2025-26 season Rashford scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists as Barcelona won La Liga, yet the club chose not to exercise a £26 million option after signing Anthony Gordon for £70m. United have reportedly kept the door open: Rashford still has two years remaining on a contract worth £325,000 per week.
Maguire, speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, highlighted his relationship with Rashford and set out what must happen for a reunion to work.
