Halo: Campaign Evolved board game announced for 2026
Fans of Master Chief’s first adventure will soon be able to play it on their tabletops. Mantic Games announced it is partnering with Halo Studios to produce Halo: Campaign Evolved – The Board Game, inspired by the upcoming ground-up remake of the original 2001 campaign rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 with enhanced mechanics and expanded content.
Like the video game, the board game will support solo play or two-player co-op and is currently scheduled to launch in Q4 2026. Mantic describes the project as an "action-packed board game," but has not yet revealed gameplay mechanics, components, or pricing. Mantic has adapted Umbrella Academy, Hellboy, Invincible and more for the tabletop and earlier this month said a Ghost in the Shell game is in development.
The company launched Halo: Flashpoint, a miniature skirmish game, in 2024 and has continued supporting it with new releases and expansions; Flashpoint has become one of the biggest success stories in licensed tabletop gaming over the past two years.
