Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry reunite at daughter's graduation

Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry both attended their daughter Nahla’s high school graduation on Thursday. Berry, 59, arrived with her fiancé, musician Van Hunt, wearing a black blouse, blue jeans and shades. Aubry, 49, exited the ceremony separately in a grey suit, white sneakers and sunglasses, walking solo.

The former couple were together from 2005 until 2010 and share daughter Nahla, now 18. In 2012 they agreed to joint custody with equal parenting time. The relationship was followed by a prolonged child support dispute. In 2014 a Los Angeles court ordered Berry to pay Aubry $16,000 a month until Nahla turned 19 or graduated high school; in 2021 the payment was reduced to $8,000 a month, with Berry required to pay an additional 4.3 percent of any annual income above $1.95 million.

Early in that dispute a physical altercation occurred between Aubry and Berry’s then-husband, Olivier Martinez. Berry and Martinez, who tied the knot in 2013 before breaking up in 2015 after five years together, share son Maceo, 12.
