Hailee Steinfeld reveals baby daughter's name Harper Haize Allen

Hailee Steinfeld revealed her and husband Josh Allen’s infant daughter’s name as Harper Haize Allen in an entry on her Beau Society Substack titled “A letter to my daughter.” “Dearest Harper, I’m in awe of you,” Steinfeld wrote. “You’ve been here for only a short while now, and somehow it feels as though you’ve always been ours.” She described the last “few months” as “beautiful and exhausting,” and “sacred and so special.” Steinfeld wrote that she’s “learned that motherhood isn’t made up of grand moments as much as the tiny, precious ones,” noting “the sway of tired hips in the middle of the night, your little milk-drunk smiles, and the quiet realization, over and over again, that my heart is now somehow living outside of my body and it always will.” She added that “already, you have taught me far more than I could ever teach you.” Steinfeld and Allen wed in May 2025 and announced they were expecting their first child in December on Substack.
