GTA 6 release date set for November 19, 2026

Rockstar Games has set Grand Theft Auto 6 for a Nov. 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X; a PC release and the game’s price have not been confirmed. Pre-orders are scheduled to open on June 25, and the title is available to wishlist on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The project has already been delayed twice. It was originally expected in fall 2025, then pushed to May 2026, and finally moved another six months to November 2026. Rockstar said the extra time will allow the team to "finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve," and expressed excitement for players to experience the sprawling state of Leonida and a return to modern-day Vice City.

There are no clear signs of another delay right now, though plans have changed before: Take-Two’s Strauss Zelnick had expressed strong conviction about the May 2026 date, and Rockstar is known for its perfectionism.
