GTA 6: $80 standard, $100 Ultimate packs exclusive cosmetics

After months of rumours about a $100 tag, Rockstar has confirmed two editions for Grand Theft Auto 6: a Standard edition priced at $80 and an Ultimate edition at $100. The reveal comes ahead of pre-orders going live on June 25, and follows wider chatter during a period when normal videogames typically cost $70.

The Ultimate Edition is said to include "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story." Examples listed so far include an exclusive salon offering haircuts for both characters, makeup and manicures for Lucia and facial hair for Jason, plus an Ultimate-only mod shop to transform vehicles with detailed interiors, exquisite rims, and donk stylings.

It isn’t yet clear whether any of those customisation options will be available in other ways for $80 buyers.
