Grim Dawn's final expansion Fangs of Asterkarn arrives July 23

Over 10 years after its initial release, Grim Dawn will receive its final expansion, Fangs of Asterkarn, on July 23. First announced in 2023 and originally expected the following year, the expansion has been described by Crate Entertainment as its "largest expansion ever." This is the ARPG's third expansion, following Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods.

The update expands the game world by 32%, making the new region over 80% the size of the base game, and adds snowy peaks, frozen caverns, ancient forest valleys and hot springs to explore. Priced at $18.99, Fangs of Asterkarn introduces potions with 6,210 possible combinations, two new roguelike dungeons delivered as free content updates, and a Berserker mastery that lets players become "a frenzied force of destruction" capable of shapeshifting into beastlike forms.

Alongside the expansion, Grim Dawn will receive a free v1.3 update with quality-of-life changes including a UI overhaul, a larger Stash and HDR lighting.
