Great Deku Tree Lego set is retiring and nearly sold out
Lego's 2024, 2,500-piece Great Deku Tree set is retiring and largely sold out, making the $300 set much harder to find. The brick recreation of Nintendo's talking tree has seen renewed demand as interest in Zelda grows.
The two-in-one build pays tribute to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, offering alternate builds and several minifigures, including two versions of Link, Young Link and Princess Zelda.
Both Lego.com and the Nintendo Store are sold out, though a few physical Lego stores still show stock and retailers such as Walmart and Barnes & Noble list the set. If you want one, check your local stores.
With an Ocarina of Time remake due this year and a live-action Zelda movie planned for 2027, demand could climb. Lego also released The Final Battle set earlier this year — a 1,003-piece, $129.99 alternative that is readily available — and Lego appears to have finished manufacturing the Great Deku Tree set.
