Gravity Circuit 2 announced; first game free on Steam

Developer Domesticated Ant Games and publisher Dear Villagers announced Gravity Circuit 2 on Monday, with a 2027 release window. To mark the announcement, the original Gravity Circuit is available free on Steam for the next two weeks and can be kept permanently.

Gravity Circuit is a retro-stylized platformer in the vein of Capcom's Mega Man Zero games. Set in a futuristic world populated by robots, it channels the feel of action-packed '90s run-and-gun sidescrollers and offers 12 stages, each featuring different gameplay mechanics.

The game has more than 2,000 "overwhelmingly positive" player reviews on Steam. Players have until June 14 at 1 p.m. EDT to claim Gravity Circuit for free. The sequel is slated to arrive in 2027 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. Other free titles on Steam right now include Moonrise Fall, free until Tuesday, June 2 at 1 p.m.
