Gothic Remake release date and launch times

The Gothic Remake has drawn attention from fans of the 2001 original. Returning to the Colony 25 years later, Fraser Brown said the visual glow-up doesn't hide the remake's 'scrappy eurojank RPG' roots.

It launches on Friday, June 5 for most regions, and June 6 for others, at the following times: US Pacific: 10 am PDT; US Eastern: 1 pm EDT; UK: 6 pm GMT; Europe: 7 pm CEST; Australia: 3 am AEST (June 6); New Zealand: 5 am NZST (June 6).

While you wait to enter the Valley of Mines, you can try the Nyras Prologue demo. The prologue is a standalone slice of the remake's story—no Nameless Hero—but it should give a clear sense of the full game.

As of writing, the remake cannot be preloaded on any platform. The PC build is around 30-40 GB (Steam suggests having 60 GB free), so how long it takes will depend on your download speed.
