Glorious GHS Eternal headset $40 on Amazon

Amazon is selling the Glorious GHS Eternal for $40, a $20 saving. The discount applies only to the black model; the white version is $60 and both RGB models are $80.

The wired headset uses a 3.5 mm jack and works on PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation. Construction is sturdy with a fair amount of bend, and the design is understated aside from an orange 3.5 mm jack; the microphone is detachable, so it can double as an out-and-about headset.

The 40 mm drivers deliver solid but not standout sound, and there is almost no sound isolation, so loud listening could bother others. Microphone quality is mediocre, but those are common compromises at this price. The Corsair HS55 may be a better budget pick at full price, but it is currently $20 more, so my money would be going to Glorious instead.

Our Jess says, "Beyond appearance and construction, this is a comfortable headset that sits securely and ticks the boxes for music-listening, video calls, and gaming."
