Two recent cards are currently selling for less than their MSRPs: a PNY 8 GB RTX 5060 Ti and a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 GRE, which is listed at $500 on Newegg. A $50 promo code is required to reach that price, which is about $46 under the card's launch price.

In our review benchmarks, the 12 GB RX 9070 GRE delivers roughly 90 fps average and a 78 fps 1% low in Black Myth: Wukong at 1080p High, closing in on the 103/89 numbers for the 16 GB RX 9070 and matching the RTX 5070’s 95/82 figures. It outpaces a 16 GB RTX 5060 Ti (75 avg, 65 1% low) and a RX 9060 XT (73 avg, 63 1% low), and yet comes in cheaper than those pricier cards — a situation partly blamed on an AI-driven drop in VRAM prices.

The RX 9070 GRE uses an RDNA 4 GPU and supports FSR 4.1, which the review judges superior to FSR 3 and still very good despite being arguably not quite on par with DLSS 4.5; AMD has not added multi-frame generation. Power draw tops out around 250 W, requiring two PCIe power connectors and modest thermal output for most builds.
