Gia Giudice criticizes Ava Dash over unfollowing accusation

Gia Giudice called out her "nasty" Next Gen NYC co-star Ava Dash after Dash accused Gia’s mother, Teresa Giudice, of unfollowing her on social media. "It came out of nowhere and it just seems very convenient. That’s why I thought the whole thing was very calculated because this wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other," Gia told Virtual Reali-Tea hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy.

Gia said Dash is "very aware of her image and how she would like to be perceived," adding, "Obviously, nobody likes bad press or bad attention. But, unfortunately that comes with this territory." She also said she would "never" deny her co-star’s beauty: "You could be nasty and still beautiful." Dash first raised the unfollow claim in a Season 1 episode last June, a moment that heightened tensions and fractured parts of the friend group.

Gia previously addressed the remarks on Nick Viall’s Viall Files in July 2025 and reiterated doubts that her mother would have taken the time to unfollow anyone.
