Genshin Impact: Sunny Summer Fontinalia update arrives June 30, 2026

Genshin Impact's next update, version “Luna VIII” and subtitled “Song of the Welkin Moon: Scherzo,” is set to launch on June 30, 2026.

The patch adds a new playable character, Sandrone, and introduces a new area called Frost Moon.

The main event for the update is Sunny Summer Fontinalia, and it also brings a new elemental reaction named Stellar-Conduct.

Additional changes include updates for Miliastra Wonderland, various quality-of-life improvements, and other additions. The update will be available on PC, Android, iOS, PS5, and Series X|S, and is developed and published by Cognosphere and HoYoverse. It is listed under the role-playing (RPG) and adventure genres.
