Gemini 3.1 Pro: A smarter model for your most complex tasks

Gemini 3.1 Pro is rolling out across consumer and developer products, bringing an upgraded core intelligence to the Gemini API, Vertex AI, the Gemini app and NotebookLM. Developers can access 3.1 Pro in preview via the Gemini API in Google AI Studio, Gemini CLI, Google Antigravity and Android Studio; enterprises through Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise; consumers via the Gemini app and NotebookLM.

Built on the Gemini 3 series, 3.1 Pro raises core reasoning. It achieved a verified score of 77.1% on ARC-AGI-2, more than double the reasoning performance of 3 Pro. The model targets tasks that need more than a simple answer, such as generating website-ready animated SVGs from text prompts (crisp at any scale and very small files), synthesizing complex systems into dashboards — demonstrated by configuring a public telemetry stream to visualize the International Space Station’s orbit — and creating interactive experiences like a coded 3D starling murmuration with hand-tracking and a generative score.
