If you’re gearing up for a fitness-forward summer, the rugged Garmin Instinct 3 is on sale for a limited time. Geared toward runners, climbers and cyclists, the AMOLED model is 33% off, falling from $450 to $300, while the Solar version is 25% off, reduced from $400 to $300.

The main difference is screen and battery life. The AMOLED has a 1.2-inch display that’s vibrant and readable in most lighting and lasts about 18 days per charge. The Solar model uses a 0.9-inch display that’s less vivid but charges itself on the wrist when exposed to at least three hours of sun per day, effectively offering unlimited battery life.

Both watches share a tough 45mm fiber-reinforced polymer case and a metal-reinforced bezel, making them scratch resistant for climbing or heavy use. A built-in LED flashlight includes variable intensities and strobe modes for emergencies or everyday convenience.
