Garfield: Escape From Monday keeps its Sept. 24 release date

Microids dropped the first trailer on Garfield’s birthday and confirmed that Garfield: Escape From Monday will launch on Sept. 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. Many publishers have shifted big fall releases into September to avoid Grand Theft Auto 6’s November launch, leaving the month unusually crowded.

Sept. 24 now includes Control: Resonant and Silent Hill: Downfall, with Onimusha: Way of the Sword following on Sept. 25; some titles such as Valor Mortis have moved to October, but Microids is sticking to its original date. The trailer highlights 3D platforming through food‑themed levels, with Garfield fighting evil tomatoes and riding eggplants.

A press release says players will be able to “embody Garfield in every form,” turning him into a turkey, a cowboy and more.
